Moorhall Capital was founded by Rob in early 2020. Rob has 14 years experience in real estate finance, having started his career in banking and then moving onto the advisory side.

Rob led a number of large transactions during his time with Lloyds Banking Group. These include Unite Students £590m bond issuance, Greystar’s acquisition of Nido’s London assets and numerous large developments such as The Atlas Building, 251 Southwark Bridge Road and Quintains “Emerald” and “Alto” buildings at Wembley.

At the end of 2016, Rob switched to the advisory side having spent 6 years with Lloyds, during which he transacted on over £3.75bn of loans. Since leaving Lloyds, Rob worked with BBS Capital, a debt advisory business focused on the UK and Europe. During just over 3 years with BBS, Rob transacted on over £500m of debt and equity advisory across all real estate sectors.

Tom spent the early part of his career at CBRE Capital Advisors where he worked in the Corporate Finance team, focused on debt and structured finance, equity placement and M&A mandates across Europe. Whilst at CBRE, Tom transacted on real estate debt financings in excess of £2bn.

Tom has subsequently worked in the Debt Capital Markets team at Victoria Asset Management, Oaktree’s integrated real estate asset management business. Prior to that, he worked at Newcore Capital Management, working to optimise external debt financing across their value-add and core-plus strategies. He has a law degree from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands.
